Beginning as a small painting business in 2001, we began to take on all types of home repairs and improvements for our customers. In 2007 we decided to focus on the area of our customers greatest demands…..Fencing and Decks! We have established ourselves as a quality vendor you can depend on to get the job done right the first time! Our talent consists of experienced, licensed and insured Fence installers, Carpenters, and Professional Painters. Today, over 20 years later we are still going strong, delivering quality and professionalism to all of our loyal customers!

Our Story
Marc and Mario started FenceRI.com in 2001. They are childhood friends who were practically born side by side. Marc comes from a masonry and roofing background and has been a carpenter since high school. Mario joined the service a few years out of high school, has a degree in electronics, and worked in the field after serving our country.
With over 20 years in business, they work with their clients to create beautiful and affordable solutions to their project needs. They use only the highest quality materials designed to add value to their customer’s home equity. They honestly believe that when you invest in FenceRI.com, you’re investing in your home. As a result, they get to see what they love the most – the customer’s excitement at the completion of their project.
As Marc and Mario grew, they realized that following someone else in business wasn’t the path for them. Working for others, they grew tired of seeing how many contractors would tell the customer what they wanted to hear just to make money. They saw customers get upset at unfulfilled promises and low quality workmanship, while being cheated out of hard earned money. They decided they wanted to do their part to repair the image of the trades.
So, vowing to be a different kind of contractor, Marc and Mario started FenceRI.com. They pride themselves on being kind, courteous, and transparent. They don’t tell their customers what they want to hear – they tell them what they need to know about their job and what it will take to do it right.
They are known for being honest and thorough, and always put everything in detailed writing for their customers. Unlike the competition, they take the time to educate their customers and are not afraid to refuse work outside of their wheelhouse.
Marc and Mario are committed to changing the image of the “Pirate contractor.” Too often they have heard horror stories from customers about contractors taking money and not delivering on promises, having to spend twice as much to redo shoddy work, or never being able to find the contractor again after work is done – especially if there’s a problem.
They want their customers to feel secure knowing that they always do what they say, communicate clearly, are easily reachable, and work hard at making their customers happy. As simple as this sounds, it’s unfortunately not what most contractors in the industry are known for.

The FenceRI.com team is experienced, licensed, and insured and includes fence installers, carpenters, and professional painters. With their versatile team of carpenters they specialize in all types of fencing installation, wood-only decks, interior and exterior painting, light remodeling, and home repairs. And they answer their customer’s calls!
Mario spent 8 years serving our country (4 years in the Army and 4 years in the Air Force with 2 honorable discharges). He loves history with a special affinity for WWII history, boating, fishing, and model building. Marc has over 20 years experience with carpentry, masonry, and roofing. He’s a power lifting champion and also loves hiking and deep woods camping. They are lifelong Rhode Island residents, and when they aren’t working can most often be found spending time with their families.
